Alison King, 10, of Doniphan cracks open an egg Wednesday that had been part of an experiment during a cooking class at the YWCA of Adams County in Hastings. One egg was left out on the counter top. One egg was left in the refrigerator in an open container and the last egg was left in the refrigerator in an egg carton for a couple of days.
