________________
As we have chosen to put the entire newspaper on the Web, primarily as a service to those who rely on mail delivery, and receive the printed paper days later. This not only makes the newspaper more timely, but also at a much lower price than a mail subscription.
We prefer to be pioneers in the newspaper business. We were the first newspaper in Nebraska to have a Web site, and were the first in Nebraska to put our entire newspaper on the Web.
Thank you for supporting the Hastings Tribune.

**The Tribune pages are PDF files that duplicate the printed edition. PDF stands for Portable Document Format a file distribution method developed by the Adobe Corporation to allow electronic information containing text, pictures and graphics to be transferred between various types of computers. The software that permits viewing these files on different computers is called Acrobat Reader®, also from Adobe.
In order to view one of our PDF files, you first need to download and install the Adobe Acrobat Reader® on your personal computer. Acrobat software is FREE for DOS, Windows, Macintosh, and Unix computers directly from Adobe's Web site. Be sure to get the installation instructions for your computer they'll tell you how to install Acrobat and set it up as a 'helper application' with your Internet Web 'browser.'
